I am a UKCP Registered Gestalt Psychotherapist and BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor (Integrative)
I work in private practice and offer brief and long-term therapy in-person and online. I am committed to anti-oppressive and anti-discriminatory practice. I welcome clients from different backgrounds and cultures to my own. I am a committed ally to the LGBT+ community, and to All Black Lives Matter.
I have a lot of experience in working therapeutically and creatively with individuals and groups in clinical, educational and community learning environments. As an educator I have facilitated learning in areas relating mental health and disability, and latterly on professional training of postgraduates on UKCP accredited course in counselling and psychotherapy.
Qualifications
Post Grad Diploma Integrative Psychotherapy, MA Dance and Somatic Wellbeing, MEd Therapeutic Learning, PhD Gender and Physicality, GPTI Advanced Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy, Post Grad Certificate Relational Supervision
Fees (Therapy)
£55 per 50-minute therapy session. I do have limited concessionary and students rates available however they are often in demand. I review my fees annually in April.
Professional registration
bound by Code of Ethics & Complaints Procedures of:
UKCP (Accredited Gestalt Psychotherapist) and BACP (Snr Accredited Member).
Extra information
The therapy space is in a quiet residential area near to Oxton village, Wirral. There is on road parking nearby and it is served by bus routes which stop within a 5-minute walk away.
The therapy space is on the first floor of the residence which is accessed by stairs.
