I like to support people’s potential for growth and development. I offer a relational, compassionate, creative, holistic, embodied approach to self-exploration and development.
Sometimes we feel stuck in old patterns of behaviour that developed for good reasons but now they don’t serve us anymore. In therapy sessions, I will help you develop and deepen your awareness with compassion and gentle curiosity to bring forth clarity of your feelings, processes and choices. Though this can be challenging, it may bring more clarity, and a sense of participating more fully in your life. It will also allow you to open doors to new possibilities and choices.
It is important to me that we will develop our therapeutic relationship where you will feel heard and taken seriously and which will allow a safe and confidential space for exploration of the whole of yourself and support you to find new perspectives, renewal and growth. My background in the arts and somatic practices has an added value to the therapeutic journey and to access that which is out of awareness.
I am sensitive to diversity issues and I respect differences. I offer therapy in English as well as Hebrew.
I have completed four-year Diploma training with Edinburgh Gestalt Institute (EGI) and completed my accreditation with the Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Institute (GPTI). I am UKCP registered Gestalt Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and am registered member of GPTI and abide by their code of Ethics. I am in regular supervision and am fully insured.
In private practice I work with individuals both in-person and online. Prior to that I worked in the voluntary sector.
My background is in dance, choreography, somatic practices, and improvisation. Alongside my Psychotherapeutic counselling practice, I work as a Feldenkrais Method Practitioner with individuals and groups to develop awareness, movement ability and the self image.
In these different capacities I have worked with groups and individuals for many years in the interface of movement and therapy, performance and healing, mindfulness and self-development. I am still involved in dance-making, choreographic practices, and performance. I enjoy connecting to nature and animals, cycling, swimming, meditation, and yoga
