How to Apply for Membership

FRIEND MEMBERS – Some people interested in gestalt therapy join GPTI as friend members, becoming part of the GPTI community, receiving our journal, and attending our Annual Conferences. The category of Friend confers no rights, carries no certification and cannot be used in any way as evidence of competence. Friends may not advertise themselves as Members of GPTI. Please contact the GPTI office to learn more or apply.  Single Payment is £57.75, Monthly payments £4.82, or Quarterly payments £14.46

TRAINEE MEMBERS – GPTI membership for trainees usually begins when you start your course at one of our training centres. You will find out more about this as you start your training.  Single Payment is £115.50, Monthly payments £9.64, or Quarterly payments £28.92.

ACCREDITED MEMBERS (HIPC – Gestalt Psychotherapist Member, PCIPC – Gestalt Psychotherapeutic Counsellor Member) – We encourage HIPC qualified gestalt practitioners to apply for GPTI membership, as this time there is no a pathway to accredit prior learning for PCIPC Please note that we can only accredit people who have qualified in gestalt. Please contact the GPTI office to start the process. Single Payment is £170.10, Monthly payments £14.20, or Quarterly payments £42.60.

SUPERVISING MEMBERS – Accredited Member Therapists can apply to become Supervising Members, please contact the GPTI office if you are interested in doing this. Single Payment £201.60, Monthly payments £16.83, or Quarterly payments £50.49.

TEACHING AND SUPERVISING MEMBERS – Single Payment £231, Monthly payments £19.28, or Quarterly payments £57.84.
